Important Candle Care and troubleshooting wooden wicks
Candles are calming but require a bit of attention to not only get the most out of them, to avoid tunneling always allow your candle to burn all the way to the edges. Always trim the wick in between each burn. Candles have memory so it will only burn as far as the last burn. Helpful tip we sell wooden wick candles. Which means just like a fireplace without enough fuel the wood won’t burn. If you are having issues with your wick not staying lit hold a match to the wax around the wick to allow it to melt, then relight. If still not staying lit take a dab of olive oil and damp the wood wick with that wait for 5 min then relight. You can always contact us as well if you have any issues or concerns.
Use caution when burning! Always trim your wick to a quarter inch before every new burn. Always place candle in a wide-open space on a countertop free of drafts and curtains, out of reach of small children. Never burn any candle for more than 2 hours at a time.
